Meh, if you say so. Have you ever tested this theory or is this more regurgitation from previuos threads? I ask because the reasoning behind putting a relay into a relay circuit is still flawed.
Is this when you manually shift from 1st up? Or are you leaving it in 'D'?
I had this problem when I would manually shift the trans until I took all of the pistons out of the valve body and cleaned the bores.
Yup. I still havent read anything that states they use fiberglass in their belts.
If you are refering to any differences between Greddy and Gates, I have never compared the 2. Being that the Greddy belt isnt as readily available as a Gates belt I could care less if it were made of titanium...
What resistors are you speaking of? I havent seen the first resistor in the diagram or on the circuit board other than the guage itself. Since you are using aftermarket guages that negates all of that.
Well, in all the wrangling to make the radiator 'fit' in my car I created a leak. Still cant pinpoint where it is but just to get to it and try to fix it will destroy the radiator. So now I am on the hunt for another radiator that is more adept to this chassis. This was one expensive lesson...
The dash harness is seperate from the harness you will need. You are going to need the one that goes from the headlights back into and across the firewall. All the manual trans cars I had seen (all 87 models) were baren of the ECT plugs needed for the factory controls.
Made more progress this weekend. Got all the AN fittings and hose routed and installed. Was able to get the IC bolted back on and pipes in place. And finally put the front bumper back on!! Evreything was going fairly well if not a bit slow.
Had to make damn sure those lines dont...
I have only seen it sporatically mounted on 87 and 88 cars. I seem to notice it more on 'sport package' cars than not. I have never seen one mounted on an 89+ car. Nor have I seen the connector on those vehicles.
Pics from today..
Went ahead and snapped this pic of the ST sway and Tokico blue hiding under everything just because.
The big fun was getting the RX-7 oil cooler mounted up.
