There's a screw by the driver's right leg, one below the hazard switch, and 2 in the ashtray's bay.... you'll also need to remove the top two which hold in the ashtray's metal top piece. Then it snaps out.

First off, I love these. They turned out VERY well. However, given the minimal depth or the recess the paint resides in, I suspect it may be beneficial to give 'em a layer of clearcoat. That said, any suggestions as to what will hold up better? Laquer, acrylic or polyeurethane base?

Woot, just got home to find mine sitting on my desk waiting for me! They look great, very clean. They are a little bit smaller than I had imagined, next time we need to look at a ruler.... although I still don't think I would have gone larger than 2.5" or 3". I am very pleased with them...

Blue LEDs do draw more current than a lot of the other LEDs out there, but it's nowhere near what a lamp draws. So I take it no one using the store bought guage replacements are experiencing this problem?

I came up with a ~150 Ohm quarter watt resistor for 2 5v LEDs w a 30mA draw. That's given a supply of 14.4v. I thought that would give me enough room..... or was it the 1/4W that did it in? EDIT: Oh, and they're in series.

Had to repair a burnt trace for my turn signals yesterday.... that sucked. I find it hard to believe the LEDs are drawing too much current.... anyone here have an idea what the problem is?

No temp signal to the ECU would probably make it run rich and ilde high... As for the A/C I have no idea. Did you get my PM, Johnathan1?

Well, if the dimmer's shot, you can bypass it by jumping two of the three wires which connect to it. Disconnect the dimmer switch and put a jumper in connecting the white w/ green stripe wire to the white w/ black stripe wire. I used two male spade connectors with the insulating jacket cut...

If you pick it up and decide to part it out let me know... I need parts. And naturally, I prefer local parts. :bigthumb: Personally, I think you should go and take a look at it. You can't tell a thing from the pics. It could be gold, could be garbage.

Any idea what that guy's running for a catback? I've got a stock turbo catback without resonator and I need to get a new muffler on it....it's got my stock n/a muffler and while the cat's still cold it sounds like a pissed off billy goat. Not to mention how restrictive it is.
