No idea at all.... Do you have a multimeter? Check to see if either of those wires supplies 12v. The one on the guage side may provide some voltage, but it should be a lot less than the 12v line. The one on the guage side is the one you want to ground. EDIT: oh, actually do you remember...

I have the Chilton's and EVERY official Toyota book for my '88 Supra (TSRM, TEWD, etc.).... the number of discrepencies between the two are unbelievable. Definitely better off to stick with the TSRM.

I believe Intrax drop 1.3" all the way around. H&Rs are staggered 1.6" in front and I think ~1.2" in the rear. B+G are 1.6 all the way around.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe both of those are European kits for the MKIII. Actual production kits, not custom.... although they're both discontinued. One's from a German manufacturer and I can't remember where the other was from.

Justin's dead on here.... I forgot about that, but now I recall it. My stereo harness for the fronts was gone but the seperate plug for the rears was still intact, so I hardwired the main harness and used an adapter for the rears.

Actually, I believe on the cassette only units from 90 or 91 on had a plug for the optional CD player.

Yeah, simply because they weren't DOT certified without the amber reflector. It wouldn't stop me from doing it.... it's not like your puttin in an all clear unit with all white bulbs... I seriously doubt anyone without a MKIII fetish would ever notice.

Depends on the laws where you're at.... technically, I think ANY modification could be considered illegal, but since the majority of the fixtures will be unchanged I highly doubt you'll have any trouble as long as you're using amber bulbs.

That's easy enough to remedy. My concern is whther these are plated or not. Plated brass keychains look really bad once your keys start rubbing the plating off. I'm in for one, possibly two. Christoph
