I'd check the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder.... the clutch may not be disengaging all the way. The fluid reservoir is the clear funnel with black plastic cap mounted in the engine bay on the firewall, driver's side.
Yup, I've got a cousin who owns an auto body shop... well, he's my step mother's cousin. Man the stories I've heard about what insurance companies can get away with if you push too far. He's a very honest guy, so I highly doubt it's BS.
Careful with the whole insisting they paint the whole thing... they do have the right to total the car if the cost of repair is higher than what they deem a fair value for the vehicle... well, at least in CO.
I have also heard of people paying a portion of the difference to have the whole car...
See HERE for connector and pin info.
DigiKey, last I checked didn't stock the Molex Mini-Fit Jr series connectors which is what you want for these. Mouser Electronics does carry and sell them, individually even! Go to www.mouser.com and search "mini-fit jr". If you just need pins both Mouser...
Just remove the bushings from the upper A arms. I'm pretty sure that would do it.... until you turn of course. ;)
Generally, removing suspension components for the sake of looks is really only something you want to do if the car is not being driven. So if you want it to look bad ass while it's...
The FC line from the VAF (AFM) harness is may be shorting to ground somewhere or there may be a problem with the "Circuit Opening Relay". FC is the ground path for the relay's coil.
I think those are the most likely suspects for the fuel pump constantly running.
This may help...
The jump in frequency may just be because the jumper bypasses the fuel pump resistor pack and relay... so it goes full power. Nothing to that.
Check the VAF harness for any wiring that's not stock. If the pump is coming on when the car isn't running the pump has been rewired.
Not nonsense, just hard to read. Of course your response isn't much better.
You're just hearing the fuel moving through the piping in the engine bay, not something else?
If it cranks but doesn't start you're either not getting fuel or you're not getting spark. Finding out which is easy...
How about some paragraphs in the future?
If the MIL flashes continuously there are no error codes stored.
You shouldn't hear fuel moving if the car isn't running. There's a switch in the AFM which prevents the fuel pump from getting power if the vane hasn't moved a small degree. Would there...
Excellent! See class, a difficult to read post often results in repetitive and unhelpful responses. ;)
Gaby, thanks for the info on the DS. Never heard that before.
If Panorama City is in Central America, I'll look past the horrid application of the English language and respond. If it's in CA, I'll talk to ya l8r ma maaaan.
Actually, I take that back... you don't type Spanish. ;) We've got members from Eastern Europe and Asia with a better command of...
There isn't an emoticon in existence which fits how that quote makes me feel... It's almost dirty.

Oh c'mon.... it's not like everyone reads... well, it's not like anyone reads. Yeah... :nono:
Oh, I was going to say that it's not like everyone reads the sticker at the pump and decides:
:naughty:
For those of you who are now curious google Research Octane and Mechanical Octane.
MAF is definitely the easiest, although S/D isn't horrible if you have patience.
Yes and no... There are a number of ways to go about setting up different modes of running, but it's not just a matter of selecting #1 or #2.
You have the ability of creating different Volumetric Efficiency maps...
I'm going to post this here (I've posted it elsewhere already), it's asked often enough. If these parts are verified to match I'll move this info to the top of the thread.

I found the following connectors on DigiKey... the pitch seems...
Yup, the point is just that if you go with the 3.5" MAF you had better either like running so rich that it seriously bumps your compression (lol) or you'd better have a way to tune it.... be it at a dyno or using a wideband (borrowed or otherwise).
Using a MAF is definitely an easier setup...
