hmm well usually powder coating is the best option but kinda low on cash. makes me think of redoing my valve cover to a high degree now :(

im thinking of painting the compressor housing on my turbo since its polished and im not much of a fan of polished stuff. do you guys think 200 degree paint will work or should i use 500?

well then just go with some good shocks and springs. found some white tokicos for 410 shipped and some adjustable koni's for 450 shipped.

well if your gonna waste 640 for shocks and springs you van just pay alittle more and get some megan coilovers for like 150 more. imo the best shocks are bilsteins or koni's.

yea there was vendor here who was selling the kit. but unfortunately, not all of us have access to machines :( willing to make me a bracket and sell them? i would buy one :)

no not yet. havent driving it much but thinking it might be exhaust or boost leak cause after changing the turbo(moved several stuff) the noise came in at like 5 psi and so on,compared to before where it would do it as soon as i would hit 0 or 1 psi. goona do a boost leak later.

no!!!! no driving!! exactly. dont want get rod knock and futher damage the motor. ahh ok i see in in downey not that far but my buddies shop is by the 105 and the 405 its about the same distance. it be cheaoer if you pull the engine out your self and just let them tear it apart.

he has good info. thats why i stated tha you should rebuil it while your at it since your gonna have to get the head and block decked. i know of kaisen only.. wher in LA are you located? my buddy has a shop near LA but idk if your closer in anaheim and stuff.

make sure you take it to a reputable shop though. what shop were you planning on taking it to? where is it located it at?

you dont need a rebuild, unless you messed up something else like main bearing,pistons or that sort. but in my opinion just take the engine out get it rebuilt since it has 144xxx miles and im pretty sure your gonna be stomping on that so who know how much life it has left, how much the previous...
