Yea dam egr pipe but the two harnesses I made into one were free so I just had to put the labor in to go threw the harness it was like a 8 to 10 hour job. Car runs great now.
So my car would just shut off when I would drive on the highway but not in the city so I got some harnesses for free and decided to make them one. The best one hand no knock sensors so I read online how to do the rewire and took me a day to go threw the entire harness and check everything and it...
That is what I was thinking tomorrow I'm going to do my r154 swap and have to take of the down pipe off. Ill look at the turbine side and see how it looks. Stock ct with stock oil return with stock accordion and I have a ddp 3 inch to 3 inch strait pipe running 10 pounds.
OK so i did a oil change and at the same time did the valve cover gaskets and checked the fender to TB piping and it was all dry. Also checked the one for part that goes into the intercooler and it was all dry so no oil that I can see from the compressor side.
I have a friend that did the same thing and now I'm hooked I love the 7m but if I can go to the yard and get a sc300 motor for 180 why not and just make a intake and get a t4 manni and turbo build the internals and use my 7m harness and then make a beast and it will look stock as hell to people...
the tb check valve is blocked off and the two valve cover outlets are running there own line to atmosphere and i blocked of the accordion returns for the pvc.
No not yet the weather has been shitty this week so I haven't had time to mess with it anymore. I am going to be mad if it the cylinder I wish it just the turbo that's easy to get another one.
So I just got done checking a cylinder and it all dry dirty but dry and got some shots of the spark plug looks little black for being in for one day of driving.
Hey that oil leak looks like the one I had on my rebuild did you change the gasket that is circled in the pic? I just painted mine too and it needed a new gasket.
Ill deccel and then take it out of gear then it smokes. while driving nothing not even on start up or hard pulls. I did notice a bit of oil on the lip of the inlet part on the turbo and I have no valve cover vents going back in the accordion pipe there is nothing there that would suck oil back...
well with the blueprint valve spring compressor it was simple. Just put the cylinder to bdc and feed some rope in there like a foot and a half to two feet then turn the crank till it stops. then put the spring down the take all the components out and pull the seal then oil the new one and push...
So I had a bit of oil in cylinder number 2 after my rebuild so I did a compression test and all the other ones were around 145 psi except number 2 it was 165. I got some new valve stem seals for a friend and today i put them on. The car would only smoke when I would decelerate then put it in...
yes the first time I tried to start it the motor would just crank and crank but no start that's when I checked the codes and got a 12. Messed with the wires by the cps and it started. But its never not started since that day never had to mess with the wires and no codes that I can see. When I...
OK guys so i checked all the wires by the clip and over the valve covers and they are all good. The cps is in great shape looks clean. When I step on it it starts breaking up in the wot position and there is no cel I am lost on what to do and I don't have another cps to change it out with.
