did the turbo shaft had play? lateral and radial, if you could feel some with your fingers then yes it's shot, but the impellers on my ct-26 are rubbing agaisn't the housing and I'm boosting 10psi daily without problem. boost leak (most of the time this is why)

sorry for the thread hijacking how much HP/TQ would I achieve with: ct-26 57mm lex afm 550cc 3" downpipe and exhaust (all the way, no cat) spearco intercooler I'm guessing 350rwhp easily, Am I right or crazy?

thank you grim. as for bypassing it, you mean pluggin both hoses going into that thing? blocking them both?

stock ecu will do fine, because 550 flow 25% more (approx.) and the lex afm 25% too.

This is not a joke, my hose blew while on a roadtrip and somebody took that picture, now that this has been fixed. I circled in red a hose coming from the back of the head, to a black module of some kind, with another coolant hose going from that module, into the firewall. I'm guessing this...

old hose that was a bit loose on my new mishimoto rad. used a clamp that was to strong and it ripped the hose when the system was under pressure. but why does my BOV made weird noise in that 5 min? I liked how she sound (30$ bov turning into a 200$ ssqv :D)

There so much thing that could be wrong, seriously, you might want to head over to the TSRM website and start troubleshooting according to toyota's chart. any CEL code? iscv ok? vacuum leak? timing ok?

just saying' the TSRM recommand that you do the compression test with the engine hot, but it is nearly impossible because the time it will take to remove the 3000 pipe and coil will be enough for it to cooldown a bit.

might be previous accident or that the tech took it wrong. frame bent by .900 is rare. let alone if it wasn't accidented

the only case of broken ecu I heard about was because the guy had it plugged in the car and welded something on the car, it fried the ecu.

check every components of the fuel delivery system. Fuel pump (you already done it) fuel rail? FPR? injector? are all those in perfectly working order?

it is worth buying it only for the built gte, drive the car and find a good shell (maybe with a BHG, cheap!!!) and swap it
