Opened my R154 trans today with a toyota mech I know
weird thing:
1- All gears are BRAND FUCKING NEW (it's a 260 000Km virgin R154, never been rebuilt)
2- All syncro are in extremly good conditions
3- Almost all bearings were perfect, we had to hammer a few to open the trans, I'll change...
rotas are fine. People are mad because they paid big money for "brand" wheels and they got to justify it by rumors that rotas are junk. While they are cheaply made, they have been known to resist normal abuse fairly well
remove it or leave it on, its up to you.
I left it on and ended up burping twice to get all the air out. If you dont want to mess with it, you gotta make it face upward (12 oclock) IIRC
use a pneumatic muffling device for industrial pneumatic system

IIRC someone on the other forum disassembled the sensor in the MAF and realised that a blow-threw afm would be a big boost leak right there.
also it wouldnt read accuratly due to the well-above atmos pressure. Don't quote me on that
