if you are sure the clutch is completly disengaging: thrust washer might be bent or deformed/broken you'll have to open it up

exactly what happened to mine when the thrust washer failed. but the shaving seized the hubs bearing onto the input shaft on top of that

since it's 1jz no-vvti, it has a map sensor and a massive boostleak wouldn't stop it from revving freely above 2500
