They could have cleaned up the combustion chambers a bit as you have some high spots. Those exhaust ports dont appear to be of even diameter, did you measure them?

I thought the filter would trap some of the oil & water as the pressure running through it would be fairly small & not enought to force out all the contents?

Perfect time to replace the cam cover seal if its hard & leaking. Dont forget to put some sealer around the two corners of the #1 cam bearing & also the outside of the cam seal as this is one area where oil just loves to leak.

Yes the turbo intake cam has slightly larger lift & 10 degrees more duration. You will loose a bit down low but pick it up at the top end, been there done that..... Dont forget to check that the valve clearances are within spec. Valve lift @0.05 is 0.297" but I have been unable to find the...

Did he do a re-torque after a few heat cycles? If not find another mechanic.

The choice is yours: 220 degrees & 0.336" lift for the BC264 218 degrees & 0.322" lift for the biggest advertised Web 7M cams 209 degrees & 0.321" lift for the smaller Web 7M cams.

Yes I have adjustable cam gears. No I have not degreed them but found that is the best setting using a chassis dyno.
