so in my diging in the engine bay i ended up bumping my hand against the the distributor cap while the engine was on and my hand hit the number 3 connection and to my supprise it shocked me
now i may just be ignorant but i had to find out if i was just going crazy, so i touched all the other...
yea i did i just forgot to come back on right after and change that post
i pulled the codes and it just came up with a code 12
system: rpm signal
diagnosis:no "NE" of "G" signal to the ecu within 2 seconds after engine has been cranked
i put some in the gas tank some in the oil and the rest through a major vac line
i then ran the car till it stoped smoking
(found a leak in my exhaust)
then changed my oil and checked my spark plugs
and now the novice question
how do i pull codes i never did it b4 on the supra
hey i got a lil issue
for the last week or so my motor has been idling lower and lower
i cant figure out why but at the moment it starts up and idles like its got some seriously aggressive cams in it it actually rocks the car back and forth.
now up until a week or so ago it was running fine...
from what i've found on here it seems really hard to find a set thats not gonna rattle my brains out if i hit a bump
i dont mind a nice stiff ride but im not tryin to have ppl complain too much when they have to ride with me either lol
but since you say coilovers what brand do you recomend...
im looking for somthing that will be smooth on the street but still put up with the abuse of drifting
im trying to find some happy middleground and still get a nice drop as well
hey i was looking into getting some custom springs for my mk3
i was wondering if anyone had gone this route and if they did what results they came up with
im hoping to end up with about a two inch drop all around and for the car to ride and handle better than stock
i was told that i can...
hey im just looking for some input
im in the market for a new clutch and pressure plate and im wondering what you guys use
im looking for somthing that will take the abuse of some weekend drifting and still be streetable
i have an manual n/a im just looking for somthing that will be stiffer...
the whole reason for the post is that im having some issues with my clutch system
i changed out the master cylinder and havent done the slave yet and the soft line looks really beat
the issue is that after bleeding the system multiple times the clutch pedal still doesnt come all the way back...
just wondering if anyone has run hard line all the way from their clutch master to the slave (deleting the softline)
and were there any issues with it
thanks
hey everyone im looking for some info on where i could possibly find a blue Heads up display
ive searched on here and google and ebay and i cant seem to find anything usefull
thanks
yea my tires were a bit worn and it had just started to rain (bad mix i know) but traffic was already moving and if i wouldve gotten hit i really would have been game over
ok so its finally getting to the point where i just have to ask
is there anyone on here that has the pictures of a eurpean rear end on our mk3 supra
the one im refering to has the reverse lights in the center molding and has a vented cover over where our usdm licence plates go and a cutout...
