Only reason most people don't think the brakes are good enough is because they aren't running a stock motor...go fast car needs stop fast brakes. And that guy is a complete fucking retard, there isn't many cars I would rather have, nor is it ever going anywhere. And the 7M is fine if you know...
Still running the stock turbo but it starting to get some play an burn out so I just sent my other one out to Albert for a 57 Trim upgrade. Was thinking of porting the wastgate hole on the turbo. And I will look into my intercooler pipes tomorrow. I am waiting on a coupler for the 3000 pipe to...
Alright so Tuesday was great got the BIC DDP put it on went great, quaility part. Now I have this old manual boost controller had it set to about 10-11 PSI. Now I can't put it down without it hitting fuel cut, so I backs the controller out a bit, still hitting it, back it out more and it falls...
Quick job I did on my sawblades, still need to do the other two soon. Have two sets of rims one has paint the others have seen stripped years ago. Picked 4 best ones so I sanded the machine lines out of the one and the paint off the other with 400 then hit it with 600, 800, 1500 wet, 3000 wet...
Here they sell off the old Crown Vic "POLICE INTERCEPTOR" cars and they don't take those badges off. My buddy had one on his car and the cops just loved it lol. I stuck one on my car just as a big fuck you to them and everyone else. Been pulled over several times, nothing said. Can't do...
I thought the same thing at first, I do live in a fairly shifty area, but haven't had one problem. Most people think its a fuckin tach lol. I started with a shitty old Suntune one just tuck taped there for months, nothing ever happened so I used the mount I have on my AFR to mount it and still...
I have my AFR mounted on the steering column on custom bracket, very in your face if you are looking to have it close to you. My boost gauge is mounted in a somewhat unorthodox spot but I love it. Both are great places for a gauge IMHO.
Re-torque it for now, and save up for a rebuild. No point in not doing it not, I did it on my car, gasket never went. Just sayin gives you more time to save for a better build.
I wouldn't take it off also for the fact its for ease of timing, just line up the notches, done. I am currently not running the front plastic one but I am very inclined to get a clear one. Left it off because I work on it a lot but mainly wanted to be able to see condition of the belt. Spot of...
You are trying to get the factory gauge to work? Even when it is working it's kinda junk. Best bet would be aftermarket though. Maybe the wire for your sending unit is broken somewhere, that happened to my temp gauge, replaced the broken part and works like a charm.
I could take a video of it but it doesn't sound quite right yet. I am waiting for a downpipe so we just welded that 3" over the existing 2.5" until we got the downpipe. so there is an exhaust leak. I could still take one if you like, might max out the microphone on my camera lol. My old exhaust...
Here is my video clip, gotta get a better one though. Im the day time so you can see the camera guy. BTW my buddy was driving, mine is a little more intense than that lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HLaYkkXI5E
