    It is also throwing codes that go on and off I havent been able to get the codes tested, when its sputting if you move the throttle up and back it off very slowly the car idles

    Just did a motor swap and turbo upgrade, have MAFT but not installed yet just running 550's and lex to test it out. The car wont idle, its okay one minute then its sputting the next. When you let off and it sputters it seems to be running very rich there is some smoke out the exhaust that burns...

    the motor has been running for an hour or so and its still like that though the drain is in the oil pan above oil level next to the stock oil cooler drain. When I rev it and hold it at like 3 or 4 its fine only when I let off, it seems like oil but I guess it could be gas but I dont think so...

    yea the turbo is new though.. my old one I poped because I ran too much oil pressure with 8 mm shim, now im running 4 mm shim and 20 at idle 65 PSI high rpm

    I dont have the PCV lines hooked to the intake right now they are just open could that cause it? (I am not done putting everything on)

    im getting smoke out the exhaust and possibly oil, It seems to happen when I get off the gas. The turbo elbow does not have oil in it. I have a new aftermarket turbo and JDM motor. I cant tell what color the smoke is but it smells like oil and burns my eyes lol. Where could it come from?

    ahhhh... interesting so when drilling a return line in the pan what would be the best spot? Could I do one beside the oil cooler return as long as it was above oil line , I think it is. Oh and about the PCV can you run open breathers or do they need that slight vacume of the intake? If not why...

    I have a T66, anyway why is the oil inlet line small and the bottom outlet more then doubble the size of the inlet?

    ahhhh... point taken. im gonna shim 4 mm try again with a new pump, hopefully this time I wont blow out my turbo seals and run 85+ PSI

    Based on the picture and looking at it in person the second line looks like it just goes to the side port thats blocked off...

    ummm that line is not used, therefore it does not need to be connected, its just blocked off. Why would a line need to be connected when it does not do anything, if that wasent the problem what was, because ppl on here say they have run 7mm shim without a problem I ran 8 and had huge...

    so say your stock 02 reads "rich" or "stoch" does that mean your engine is runnign within safe mixture levels even thought it might not be tuned exactly to optimal performance?

    So are you guys saying that when using a stock 02 and when using a air/fuel meter guage that what it shows you is wrong? Or does wideband just detect the leaner and richer sides the guage does not show? So your stock 02 when it reads rich for example its just liing and it could really be lean...

    How difficult is it to unbolt the crossmemeber and take out all the ps and such to get to the oil pan? Would it be just as easy to unbolt the motor mounts and tranny and lift the engine up?
