I'm not sure the AFM housing is your problem, I would put my money on the actual AFM electronics (it tends to just go out at random). Also, not sure about the A/C; however, if I remember correctly code 51 is Signal. It could also be the throttle position sensor (happened to me).
You're supposed to have the stock AFM, but if it was an AFM issue (and they tend to go out at bizzare times) you should be getting a couple codes, it's probably the piping if you did not mess with anything else. What IC and setup did you go with?

If you need couplers and clamps, order from siliconeintakes.com. They are really good quality, but they may not have the cheapest price. My friends and I have all made orders, and they were great quality.
I did it with tires on the wheels. Used airplane cleaner available at any auto parts store. I didn't cover the tires but just carefully sprayed it on there. Two of the wheel finishes pretty much came off on the first attempt. The other two took a little while, just be careful not to scratch...
thanks for the replies. i think i'm going to relocate the bov underneath my car and wrap the piping and find a shield for the ct26. i just can't believe i paid more for the driftmotion kit, which said it was direct bolt-on; however, the intercooler had to be fabricated in and now the piping...
So if I purchase a non knock off bov like TiAL or HKS etc., I should be good on heat there and thus avoid the surge from failure? Does anybody know how long the brand name bovs tend to last here?
Gotcha. Thanks for the info. Don't have the heat shield, but I'll look out for one. Didn't even think about the bov. What do you think about wrap, should I wrap that section of piping??
Just installed driftmotion's 7m ic kit and found that the piping runs right over the turbo. Is that ok...? Do I need to heat wrap/ find a heat shield (still got ct26)? Would that help enough
Appreciate it Hvyman. I figured they wouldn't, but I couldn't believe there were none available in the sizes I was looking for. I might go the 9.5 route, but I'm going to continue doing some research and consider other options.
I am looking for someones opinion or knowledge from experience on brakes glazing over and not stopping the car!
I had bought a set of front and rear drilled and slotted rotors off ebay.... Probably my first mistake
