    MSD DIS 4 troubles

As far as installing the coils go buy the gm terminal ends from summit and a crimp tool. I took my NGK wire set I was using on my car, and delicately removed the rubber boot with a razor, careful to not damage the actual wire at all on the end that goes to the coils and delicately uncrimped the...

    MSD DIS 4 troubles

When you install it with just the tach adapters the car will most likely run on all cylinders but have an intermittent mis if everything is setup properly. So if the shop has 0 spark on certain cylinders there is either a defective component or they wired it wrong, neither of which would...

Another new product coming soon from SIP- stroker kits!!

Nope, I knew about the cranks and I knew about the differences IJ noted just curious if there was something else pertaining to the cylinder walls.

Another new product coming soon from SIP- stroker kits!!

Well I guess my question is are we talking about two different differences? I knew about the ribs being different along with the bigger mains, etc but are you saying these blocks also have thicker cylinder walls, or any year or casting number block for that matter?? I saw IJs pics, but I didnt...

Another new product coming soon from SIP- stroker kits!!

I have been wondering this for a bit now. Have you found the cylinder walls to be thicker on the late model blocks? If so what years exactly? Maybe I missed the thread on this? I saw the thread concerning the outer ribs. I know that there is a difference between some blocks concerning the...

JT2MA71's Build. Dyno video on post # 1191

I've been running straight argon with a green tungsten for aluminum. The machine seems to get plenty hot, hot enough where I have never really thought I needed to run it much over 100amps, but I haven't welded much thicker than 1/8" aluminum. Do you run argon/helium? What kind of amperage...

JT2MA71's Build. Dyno video on post # 1191

Ditto...I can weld aluminum but they don't look nearly as nice. I don't know if its my machine, the settings I set or me. The machine is a Thermal Arc 185TSW.

Resistor for dual walbro fuel pumps

Two stock resistors in parallel works. I ran like this. Just make sure its not 9V when under boost or you'll drop a ton of fuel pressure.

    New Idea for Fuel Lines

There is no chance in hell, the gas tank wont even come close. I tapped the bottom of the trunk floor with a hammer a few times and I could tell it wasn't going to budge plus I didn't want to damage the sheet metal, so I just bought the right fittings before I did any damage. Do yourself and...

    New Idea for Fuel Lines

Just to follow-up on this. I recently installed a full-6 return and I can set my fuel pressure as low as 24psi now. I posted a bit back that with the stock return I was only able to get as low as 32psi. Edit: Oh, one thing I should add, is not to use the straight bulkhead fittings on the...

Finished my battery relocation with cutoff switch and fuel pump rewire (PICS)

But you did say, "that's a start" after whoever mentioned B+ > Switch > PDB and from there, your unclear vague posts lead me to believe that was what you were talking about this entire time. I'm not a mind reader, and I even politely asked you to correct me if I was misunderstand what you were...

Finished my battery relocation with cutoff switch and fuel pump rewire (PICS)

Jet, +B is an efi signal(that requires switched power to run the efi system...) which is what I thought you were trying to get at by saying B+. I am sure you know the obvious problem with interrupting the battery positive only, which is why I figured there was no way you were suggesting just...

Finished my battery relocation with cutoff switch and fuel pump rewire (PICS)

Oh really. How about you actually try and add something to this thread rather than insulting. Numerous people have asked you for guidance. So when you interrupt the B+ signal your headlights wont work? The large starter wire wont be hot? Again, if I am misunderstanding what you are getting...

Finished my battery relocation with cutoff switch and fuel pump rewire (PICS)

Maybe we misunderstood each other. Lets put aside that this method doesn't remove all electrical functions for a minute, which right off the bat doesn't comply and is more dangerous. How do you get switched power to B+ from a switch mounted in the back of the vehicle AND a main hot off the...
