there are a lot of walbros that are cheap knock offs with walbro printed on them. to get rid of the whine you just need to securely hold them in place. they whine cuz there is movement where there mounted.
the saab cup holder would be nice but where are you going to mount it. imo i hate having un-capped drinks in my car as they will tend to spill weather its you trying to shift around a corner or your dumbass friend. either way its better not to have drinks or food in the car. after cleaning...
10$ for a torque wrench wow. i spent 360 for my 1/2in from matco and 300 for my 3/8 from matco. at least get craftsman. harbor freight is not quality at all.
if you could de-stroke it run more compression with fuel and tuning + plus other extensive work i thik that the ge could make power. sorry for this(i hate hondas)... but built hondas can get good amounts of hp when properly built i think the same can be applied for the ge.

you missed one very common part that goes bad and a search would have came up with many many many... threads witht he same common problem.. the tail light failure sensor located below the drivers side tail light.
