6m is lighter and the 7m is better balanced. so you can either balance the 6m which will lighten it a tad more or lighten and re balance the 7m.

you cant bore a block 50 over with out running into issues with the thickness between the cylinders. that and i have never seen 50 over pistons. i think he means .5mm or .020 over. stock is 83 so a 84 mm will be fine. when you get the hg just lay it down on the black to make sure.

im pretty sure most blocks by 88 had them if not by 89 when they switched to the stronger block i would think they all did. you will be fine with out them and in fact with out them at the point when they open you will have more pressure to your bearings with out them.
