Yes. For a mhg the head and block need to be machined to a certian smoothness spec.
Usually around 50 ra or better for a cometic/titan and 30ra or better for hks.
The smoother the better for both tho. Should look like a mirror on the finish of the head and block.
I have never seen a tps deflect backwards.
Every time i set a tps it deflected normaly with a digital volt/ohm meter and everything checked out.
Idk what your problem was unless you had a slow ohm meter and you turned it too fast.
Bolt DS to the rear end, Slide the other end into the tranny, Bolt up the carrier bearing.
Some times you have to turn the DS to get it in the tranny.
Its not that hard.
Check the output shaft and the drive shaft for any damages on the splines.

Doubt it is they are different and they different part numbers for the rebuild kit.
New slaves are only like 30 bux and 50 from toyota.
Iirc the jdm throttle bodys are different on the tps part.
Why do you not like the stock linkage?
Look at the taps for the tps on the usdm and compare to the jdm. Iirc the taps for the tps are up and down on the usdm.
No i dont. I only take little shit A. because they dont care about the little shit and B. because i have spent more money to walk around there lot then actually buying things.
I dont steal candy from the grocery store but i also i dont have to pay 2 bux to walk around it.
