    Soup caught fire.

No its right behind the exhaust manifold. My post had question marks no need for name calling. Dont be a dick. And just you dont ask and call names checking oils and finding 1 low would tell you what oil it was. Edit. fyi Those L shaped heater hoses are 10x easier if you use toyota hoses...

    7MGE consuming oil, any advise?

Do not use stop leak. Its snake oil. Valve stem seals. Have to do a valve job when machining to get those replaced unless you do them yourself. Try letting the car warm up more before you start driving it. Like above the cold line at least. Used to have to do that with my old n/a after one...

    Soup caught fire.

If it was the high pressure line it could have sprayed anywhere. And if it has power steering fluid and not atf it would look like motor oil.

    Soup caught fire.

Coolant pressure test? If the cps was the culprit which it sounds like and since you were at wot, The oil would have sprayed on a 1300+ degree turbo. If the cps was on fire id start at looking at the L hose below it.

Few problems with '92 GTE. Oil consumption, bubbles in coolant, yanks under boost.

Before you start spending on parts that might not be needed, Why not do a block test, comp test, coolant pressure check, and hell even a leak down test and find out what is wrong.

    Dm bov?

Some have stalling issues and some dont. Its supposed to be used with like hard pipes and such. The real greddy piece is bent and goes in place of one of the rubber top hoses. You get what you pay for.

    easiest way to pull engine?

Um no. Setting the car on the rotors would not be a good idea esp since the suspension would prolly go up and it rest on subframe possible smashing front bumper and mudflaps. Load leveler would make pulling it super easy. That with the hood off.

    1.5jz swap questions/concerns

Itd be easier just just use a thicker headgasket than swap pistons.. If you use a gte block might as well just do full 2jzgte swap. The 2jzge blocks are pretty tough and with a good tune and compression 9:1 or lower can handle a good amount. There also all over the junkyards esp with all the...
