You put the wheel on the cam. Its only needed to make sure that the cams are what the card says they are. If they were 30* off i dont think the motor would run very good at any time. 1 tooth off stock can make it not even drive able. You should fix your other problems first. Its hard to say...

No idea on that. When the bov doesnt open the air back feeds into the turbo giving you the flutter sound. Can kill your turbo and quick, but not always. Bov doesnt add hp either.

Its actually not. Since you run a k&n and dont have the pre bov filter that it comes with its likely that its clogged with dirt. Can you feel air coming out of it all? The hks is the only bov that you sometimes need to do that with also.

Dont use wd. Wd is great to clean hands and remove greese. Get it? You want greese on the rod joints so everything operates smoothly. White lithium grease would work good.
