Then you wouldnt hear it in the pass kick panel and it would be more of a grinding sound or if it really was that bad a super spin whine sound on the drivers side. Which i have yet to see on any jz or 7m. Not a clicking sound every time you turn the key.

Yes it increases rigidity as it keeps both frame rails in place. If you were to get in a crash the tank with in in place would then be a civic and slamming the engine through the firewall. Do note not all crashes are not the same. Either way. Do not remove it. If its in the way modifiy it...
