Someone over tightened it somewhere down the line for a valve cover to break.
Factory torque spec is 22 inch lbs. Which basically snug is over tightening.
If you cut and welded the pipe differently you have tons of room.
Dumping right there runs the risk of melting paint or any greese that collects there. Closer to the ground would be better.
Could be tail light seals or hatch seal. Those would be the most likely.
Quarter window or hatch window would be after that be a little bit harder.
If you can have someone pour water over the hatch while your in there and look where its coming.
Did his Cressida come with a 5m or 7m?
Won't be hard. Idk cressidas well but the cress 7m harness might plug in if it had a 5m if not might just need to swap pins or just cut and solder for the body plugs.
Cressidas use front sump tho so you will need the pump pick up tube and pan.
Also the afm is what gives the signal for the pump to start pumping.
Try turning off or since you have the patch harness remove it and try starting the car with a afm. If it starts with a afm then the problem is either with the wiring or electronics,.
The Afm is what tells the pump to start. With the key in the on position you should not be building pressure.
Have you checked to make sure you have power and ground to the pump.
