Usually when it pours out the overflow its the hg. Could be the rad cap tho.
When the car is hot are both hoses equally hot?
Look at how the fan moves when its idleing. IF you can grab it the clutch is shot.
Your fine. It would be more of a pain to add them then to just not run them.
They spray oil on the bottom of the pistons to help cool them down. Not necessary tho helpful.
If you have power steering you need the vacuum for the idle up valve so a nipple needs to be welded on for that.
The isc can be vented if the maft pro is setup right. Use a little filter.
The bov can be vented so that can be deleted.
And you could just run the pcv through the tb(Not proper way...
The battery just needs the power cable ran front the front to the back. You can make a new ground that bolts to the rear somewhere without running a line.
Use new toyota seals. Theres 4.
Do not use rtv. It is not needed.
You can use some tar strips or silicone under the corners of the front seal to raise it up and get a better seal and get rid of any water drips.
The seals are supposed to slide in the tracks into the right position when...
Ya just get rid of the metal cooler lines and use a 7mgte oil cooler and run 2 lines. Can even put a inline filter for like 20$
Its best to have some sort of cooler so you dont over heat the fluid.
You need the isc if you want the car to idle.
The bvsv is for the charcaol canister.
The vsv's are for egr and fuel pressure up.
Basically you can remove the afm and run a different intake setup and have a better tune.
Wire tuck/vacuum line tuck and ffim would prolly suit you better.
Cam and crank timing and ignition timing are 2 different things.
With the cam marks matching there marks on the backing plate and the crank at zero(with the piston at tdc) this is where you insert the cps to right way. Then you start the engine and set the timing with the 2 jumped.
Its the same exact thing as the ge. Instead of turning the dist you turn the cps. Same bolt in the same spot and turning it does the same thing.
Dont need to take off the cover just loosen the 12mm and turn in the right direction with te1 and e1 jumped in the diag box.
I would stay away from xtd.
And no. A turbo clutch will not work on a n/a trans.
You could get a stock clutch for like 220 with pilot bearing and throw out bearing and a reman pressure plate and new disc from champion toyota.
They dont have pcv valves. Every car has a pcv system tho. 1/2jz have pcv valves
Its there to stop oil from going into the intake.
Some people get nit picky about oil in the intake, some use one to stop smoke from excessive blow by, others for the bling factor.
It is hooked up right tho...
Depends on how bad it gets. But generally its better to just start fresh. Once you are past the amount of clearance its not worth it and that will happen quick.
