If you dont have a condenser you can pull the front bumper and cover and lift the motor up and go that way. I did that. Was a little bit of a pain but worked fine.

Use fipg from toyota. ITs better than the auto store stuff. We dont use cork gaskets on oil pans. You either have to pull the motor or drop the subframe. Both are basically an equal amount of work. Engine seems easier for me tho.
