A steel 1 piece properly built and balenced should hold up fine. I run one but id only trust 1 person to make them and he uses all new parts.. That person also has over 400 and drags his car a lot with slicks in the 11's.

There is 3 spots but the dowel should be in the middle one. If it is off a tad tho it will be off a couple degrees. Retime the belt and them time the cps.
2 turbos doesnt = twice the amount of boost. If that was the case the 1jz would have 16psi stock.
Diesels run masiively huge turbos with massive engines and lots of compression. A lot different than a 3l.

3rd looks to be reverse lights. Plug looks broken on the snesor side too.
Second looks like newer abs or something and the other single wire could be knock sensor if its at the rear.

If you dont have a condenser you can pull the front bumper and cover and lift the motor up and go that way. I did that. Was a little bit of a pain but worked fine.
Use fipg from toyota. ITs better than the auto store stuff. We dont use cork gaskets on oil pans.
You either have to pull the motor or drop the subframe. Both are basically an equal amount of work. Engine seems easier for me tho.
