No most people have stock height they just get a short shifter to shorten the throw. Short shifters dont lower it. They shorten how far the throw is. LIke how far you pull back or push up.
Its better for performance wise like if your racing for the shifter to be closer to the steering wheel...

The bolts should only be able to go in there spots. Small bolts may or may not even touch the threads for the large bolts and the large bolts will bottom out before they are tightening against the water pump.

They go in the trans. 1 on the ball of the end of the shifter and the other is for the pivot point of the shift. Make the shifter itself tighter and no wobble around.
You have to take the shifter out to install them.
You could try it if you like but its still going to be notchy.

You can add a rhd drivers seat. Just need to add power for the motors to work. If you pulled up the carpet to where you could easily get to the drivers side all you need to do is take power from there.

I use a short 14mm wrench on engine side(if you dont have the 91+ with threads) and a bunch of extensions with a wobble 14mm on the trans side. One you start loosening just make sure the wrench pry against the starter or something and all you have to worry about is the trans side.
