All the little 10mm and 8mm nuts on the inside of the rear. Have to remove the middle panel and pop out the plastic piece that gives you access to the bulbs.
Fairly straight forward. Might need some assistance on actually taking them out as sometimes they get a little stuck and or go in tightly.
Stock 2j is not a compound setup. Uses a smaller turbo to get power until the bigger turbo spools up and then it is parrell like the 1j.
Compound setup a smaller turbo spools the bigger turbo.
Its in the chassis. Targa cars were made differently than hardtop cars.
Not going to work and be safe.
You can contact another sunroof company and get a slightly bigger one put in no problem.
No you cant. Targa cars have extra bracing.
I would look into getting a new sunroof installed. Maybe try and look up who made your sunroof and eeif you can get the parts your missing.
No its fine. 90lbs dry would be over torquing. 90lbs with the correct moly and the torque sheet that says 90lb will not hurt anything.
Buddys arp studs were 90lbs and his car has been running just fine for the past year/25k.
If you use motor oil the torque needs to be like 130lbs.
It all...
51 is cause you dont have a mk3 with a/c hooked up.
Have you tried unplugging the safc?
Leave the fuel pressure at 36psi.
Do you have the fuel pressure vsv hooked up under the intake manifold?
Fyi you should think about installing the egr. Its not a bad thing and it doesnt effect your hp...
91 would work. The ecu doesnt matter so long as its gray plug.
Its just the harness and it really is better to just match up the year and options. Like abs and if your using auto you need a auto harness and ecu but hes r154 so it doesnt matter.
Of course 87-88 are the same so that doesnt matter.
89+ have a better tuned ecu.
You need the 92. It has the wiring for the airbag and all that. Its also a shit load easier to just buy the right harness and plug it in rather than trying to sort out wiring and plugs to make it work.
Some torque sheets say to use 90. Never seen a torque sheet that says to use 78 or 85 either.
The torque spec depends on what you use for lube if any. No lube will be less torque, arp moly can be anywhere from 80-90 depending on what lube you get with it, and oil is something like 110-130.
You need a 92 wiring harness, All the motors are the same except newer castings and turbo motors having turbo drain and feed and oil squirters drilled and tapped.. All heads are the same just the intake cam is different.
The sensor usually dont go bad as much as the wiring itself. Somewhere from the plug to the ecu there is a problem. Esp if your harness has seen better days,
A) you could just run the wiring ziptied to the main harness or
b) You could remove and replace with good harness or
C) Take harness...
I would just fill the corner up and then grind it smooth. THere is enough room for a mig/tig you could easily get a die grinder/cutoff wheel with a carbide bit or something.
