Should be 13psi in the cooling system. Its what the stock rad cap is rated for. Hoses are cheap from rock auto. Some are easier to do while the engine is out as well.

why not just fix your power steering. Your going to need more than just the manual rack to install that. Reman racks are cheap too.

Do you get into the higher rpms a lot? I never have had problems with using oil unless there was a leak or burning oil.

You would only get over heating at stops if the fan clutch was bad. This is a 2jzge right? IF you pull over or drop the rpms does it cool back down or do you have to shut it off. Rent or buy a combustion chamber tester and a compression tester. This will let you kno whats going on. Any...
