Do they say why? Seems kind of a silky thing to say. People have been using them for 20+ years with no problems.
It's lighter to so it will rev faster and will be just as smooth if you counter balance it.
Same dampner. Best way is to pull the no1 spark plug and stick a chop stick or something similar in the hole and watch it as you turn the crank to find tdc. Then your not guessing. Also doesnt take that long to pull that one plug.

alt. loosen the pivot bolt and the other bolt and then lift up slightly on the alt and you should be able to spin the nut down real fast. No need to use a pry bar when tioghtening. lift it up and spin the nut as high as you can go by hand and then use a 10mm...
^how bad is it on a scale of 1-10? Which ones are you using? The beech performance ones?

42 is speed sensor. I just didnt hook mine up so i dont get speed cut, but if you past like 90ish light will stay on till you cycle the key.
14 is most likely the ecu and the source of your break up problems.
24 is intake air temp sensor...
Depending on which model it is for was only like 1000-1200 new. Basically about what a used one goes for. You can find v2 aem for 2jz used for like 1200-1400 with everything and pnp. Just a example. Best bet is to start off with the proper unit.
Also you wont be able to drive to the tuner...

It either has no purpose or it goes somewhere by the fuse box. Its white right? Or gray?
How is it routed?
Should go from resviour to pump with a big hose, then from pump to rack with high pressure hose, then exit rack with something like 3/8th reg hose then go to the cooler and back up to the resivour.
It does nothing and makes no noise?
