Cant find missfire need some help

Never seen any car idle at zero rpm.... Igniter could be bad since the tach gets its signal from the tach. Or you could have a bad wire. Its the black wire from the igniter through the harness to the boddy connectors to the cluster. How doe the engine idle tho? Smooth? Do you have a timing...

    Blowing smoke :-(

Yes. Have to measure the gap. Remove the shim and add/subtract the amount you are off the the size of the shim thats in there. That amount will be the new shim that needs to be in there. Thought i posted the link but must have forgotten...

wierd chugging problem comes and goes.

Idk just for some reason i have seen buddys cars do better with them. Strangly odd but it could have been just a bad later one. I wasnt doing the work. Not always. Tps has 2 codes. 51 is the idle circuit in the tps or a nsw switch problem or a/c. 41 is tps only and anything but idl.

wierd chugging problem comes and goes.

Can always clear the codes and re drive to make sure your getting the right codes. If they both come back id replace both. Tps can go out just in the blink of an eye. Mine decieded it was time to go out when i started my car after a hg. Why it just did. If the plugs havnt been replaced...

    1990 Airbag Removal

As long as the ground cable on the battery is not grounded its impossible for the air bag to go off unless it defective in which case it would have gone off a long time ago. When you first start working with air bags it can be a little nerve wrecking. After a while you get used to it tho. Its...

    7mge headers

Another idea for the 02 sensor would ne to take the wires out of the harness and shorten them and have them come out like where the heater valve wires come out kinda by the hole in the firewall for the harness. Might clean it up just a tad as well. Even if you didnt want to cut into the...

wierd chugging problem comes and goes.

Spark plugs are not going to cause that, Thye would cause a mis or if the plugs were gapped wrong the boost would blow out the spark in boost. Id fix the tps and try a different afm. For plugs id use the bk7res ngk v power coppers., There like 1.69 from rock auto and gap them to .028.

    Blowing smoke :-(

Nosiey head would be valve lash. How old is the turbo. Also sounds like a bad turbo seal. Valve stem seals usually smoke on cold start up. Just use normal valve stem seals.

    1990 Airbag Removal

First and foremost remove the ground cable off the battery. After that you are free to remove anything with the airbag. Steering wheel is torx bit. Dont quote me but from memory something like a t45 or so. Unplug and thats off. Also if your caging it and lighter seat and possibly gutting to...
