You said it doesnt when you pull the jumper?
Jumped yes it will. Without the jumper it shouldnt.
jz swaps are usualyl wired to prime too.
What is the problem it cranks but doesnt start?
Do you have spark?
do you have fuel?
Looks awesome.
What are you doing for the dash?
Some black suede would be sick. Might not match the best tho. Just some nice thick black leather would be nice tho.
Check to make sure there are grounds on the intake manifold. Sort of under it by where the upper manifold bolts to the lower. Should be 2 white wires and 2 brown wires that just get bolts to one of the open holes by them selves.
It cost like 40$ to machine the head.
The block you can get away without machining.
I have done a head gasket with out either in a pinch but its not recommended.
If the gasket is fine just keep driving it. No point to take the head off put a new hg and arp on if the car runs fine now esp...
7m im guessing. Nothing wrong with the jz ones as far as i know except for the y pipes being totally ghetto built. They bolt up just not with all the nuts on the flange lol.
Which dp? Ddp? They have some fitment issues. Might be for mk2 or they just f'ed up on there measurements somewhere down the line. Buddy had same problems.
Yes early cars had it. Later cars had it blocked off.
Not sure about the isc and stock ecu. But if you run the maft pro you can just mount the isc under the intake manifold out of site and just put a little air filter on it.
^ill be going with the aem soon since apexi doesnt make a 4in filter. Only 55$
Heres teh apexi housing after about 55k and 4 years.
And just so you dont think i cleaned it. Oil dripping from the pcv system on the 7m.
Ya but what size is the wheels? Like a mp t70? OR 61mm or gt35?
Ar is just how big the housing is for the wheel. Simply put. A ar.70 housing on a gt28 is going to be a lot smaller than a ar.70 housing on a gt35.
Thermostat is a good idea. If not your engines oil might get up to temp after about 10 full out laps on a circuit. lol. Buddy had to put a piece of cardboard over his cooler so it would actually get hot on his 240.
Also if you doing the whole system in -10 imo its better to just get the -10an...
You want to stay out of 1st and 5th as much as possible. Find a nice quiet back road and just go back and forth.
