Goes where its at in the second pic. Car will run like crap with it open. Either plug it and the accordion hose till you can replace it, OR clean it with brake clean and jb weld it back on.
Fyi its the idle up valve for when your turning the wheel at idle.
Safc is not the best. Just the cheapest. It screws with the timing when adding or subtracting fuel. Maft pro can add fuel or timing and is the closest thing to a standalone.
On the fan. With the 1hp gain you get from taking it off the drive system you will lose in alternator loading. SO...
Not hooking up the vac line will ruin the turbo ;(....
Make sure the isc is good and clean. Then there is a dash pot mod you can do so it wont stall. Also the tps idle and ign timing need to be set properly.
My bov vented never stalled when i was 7m.
Lex you should be able to hit like 17-20 psi.
Stock tune is pig rich and will stay that way until you tune it. Better to have something to tune with now then later on. Aem would be a good investment.
Id go with the precision. Much better than the garrett and it has a billet wheel which will help it spool faster. If you get the ball bearing version it will spool even faster.

75-80w90 gear oil. IF your diff has the lsd sticker you need to add the correct amount of lsd additive as well.
Thje colors of the wires are irrelevant. Its where they go.
Yes it can be done. You can also just get a good used box and plug it in. Sf Prolly has one on the first page of the forsale section.
Not that write up but it can be done.
If it were me id just look on supraforums for a good used box and plug it in. Either that or hit or champion or elmhurst toyota on sf and see how much a used one is.
