sorry about that, my camera is really good at taking pictures, but crappy at taking video. i didnt win that race... i only won 1 out of the 6 races and that was against a turbo'd Lancer ES that ran a 15.8.
Went to the local test and tune today and got to run the Supra 6 times. Best run of the day was a 14.705 at 95.95 mph... my 60' was 2.287. i am pretty happy with the results considering my current mods, K&N FIPK, DDP into testpipe and no cat. back. Also i am using an XTD clutch and flywheel...
guns don't kill people, people with guns kill people. the same can be said about cars. a gun sitting on the ground won't just aim and fire itself at a person and a parked car won't just start itself up and run someone over. so i guess they can be compaired?
i have a quick question reguarding this topic. on my driverside door jam, there is a plate that reads when the car was made and then it says GVWR at like 4460 lbs. but all the threads on here say that an '88 should be around 3500-3800 lbs. is mine just really fat?
i guess i am the ony one who hasnt had a problem with the XTD? ill just have to see how it does down the modding path, with bigger HP and torque numbers coming soon.
well, i just didnt want to put the gauges in the a-pillar pod... everyone and their mom has them there. also, if you have 3 gauges on the a-pillar, how quick do you think you can accurately look at all 3? :biglaugh:
i have their stage 3 clutch kit and their 11lb flywheel combo. it is pretty grabby, but you get used to it. for the price i think it is worth it, all those other companies started somewhere too, so maybe someday XTD will be up there with the rest of them.
here is mine, Autometer carbon fiber look boost/vac. gauge. going to install a sheet of carbon fiber where the radio went and install EGT, oil pressure and water temp. gauges.
