you can remove your TEMS and just get some struts and some sport springs and then they will go right? or will you need to buy some non-TEMS strut top hats/plates?

i do have what looks like oil stains on the inlet side of the turbo (where the accordian piece connects). could that be causing this? what will i need to do, a rebuild or a new turbo?
come to think of it, when i first replaced my leaky valve cover gaskets, there was "spitting" of oil out of my DDP (running no cat back). i wonder if the bad valve stem seals would allow oil to "spit" out the DP/tailpipe and cause the smoking at cold starts?
ok, i have this same exact problem... white smoke on start up and then it pretty much goes away after warm up. i have some oil on the garage floor after the car sits for a night, small spot. i was thinking maybe a BHG, but then i found this thread. i am hoping that its just the valve stem...
are these things pretty strong? obviously not as stop as the steel or aluminum ones, but they are made of plastic then ceramic coated, so i am just wondering how strong these are... like brittle or whatnot?
cant really tell from the angle of the camera, but the smoke looks a tad bit white, but when you rev it blows out some black too. i would say that its just fuel... btw, your car sounds outstanding!
i was launching at 3300 to 3800 rpms. i think next time i go to the track i am gonna try launching around 4k rpms... but i was spinning at 3300-3800, so i dont know. i think i read your old post about the trailing arms, i am looking into those and possibly some drag radials on my extra set of...
