I have a single turbo 1jz swap and it too gets hot as hell on the freeway both by the shifter and the passenger foot area. This summer i'm gonna attempt to lay some thermal sheild on the tranny tunnel and heat wrap my downpipe.

That's a cool story, but I don't daily drive my supra. It's modified, loud and low. I have a 96 crv swapped honda civic that I've been daily driving for the past 7 years with absolutely no issues.

IMO the only things that should be swapped over from the MK4 to the MK3 are the wheels and the motor. Besides that I say leave the MK3 a MK3 and leave the MK4 a MK4.

The is200 comes with the 4 cylinder motor. It would be easier to go NA-t with the gs300.
