could be the carbon burning off from running that rich for a few minutes that made it worse. If you drive it for a while and pull in somewhere and check to see if it is still coming out or not that should give you an indication that it is or isnt normal carbon build up.

Yep that is your issue.and its most likely just oil in the pvc system getting burnt off. Is there an excessive amount of oil?

I know what hoses you are talking about just want to know if you have them hooked up to the right thing or just venting to atmosphere.

Post a pic of the hose that is steaming please and we can help better.
