Cleared all codes then jumped FP and +B. When ignition is on I do get 36 on my afpr gauge. BUT I only get like 10psi on my afpr gauge and low vac when the car is idling.
For some reason it does stay idling now its just very week, smells like fuel (even though gauge reads low?), and still if...
Okay I will be going to the shop after work tomorrow to jump FP and B+. For the sake of time since i only have a few hours out there i want to know where to go fron there....
if I can't get it to read as high as 36psi I know what to check but if higher than 36psi on my afpr gauge, and it doesn't...
Nice find. I hate dealing with that hose its a pain
Soon I will be piecing together my own kit and was going to try and do something that could be saved as a sticky so i can contribute something around here lol
I want to list out all the pieces (bends, straights, and couplers) needed to piece...

Right...so need to disconnect power from battery then.. Searched about a week ago to try and find out how to do thia and found jdubs post @11:05pm back in 2009...so that's where that idea came...
Thanks man...can u briefly explain frequency counter on the KV signal? Is that different than using an ohmmeter to check the resistance on the terminals per the tsrm?
And JJ...I didn't just pull the efi relay and expect it to clear my code, at first my AFM wasn't plugged in so after plugging...
Thank you guys...grrrr came out to shop to find a lot of coolant had leaked out from the heater core hose behind the head...yeah the one that really sucks to get to....looks like I won't get to troubleshooting tonight but will get back out there later in the week and report back
Okay I only have little time at the shop tonight so iIwont worry too much about that then and will focus on other troubleshooting steps..but...where exactly is the IAT sensor since now I'm curious....
Why can i not find where this is? Can someone please tell me where the intake air temp sensor is? Is it built into the AFM electronics or the housing somewhere?
Have you messed with any wires from the alternator since it was running right? There should be a connector from the harness that plugs into the back of the alternator and a thick black wire that sits on the probe on top of the alternator and runs to underneath the fuse box. i dont think anythign...
Your thinking no gas in the tank or bad gas? The car has sat for over a year...I dropped the tank to put in the new pump and it had a litle gas in it...
oops, well I do have intake vacuum... Can you help me to understand this?
I have vacuum at the afpr but I believe (i will need to confirm this because i cant for certain remember) when i tried to disconnect that vac line from the afpr the gauge read the same with or without the vac line...
not sure if i fixed the code or not..afm wasnt plugged in, so plugged it in and then pulled the EFI relay for 30 secs to clear codes but i still got a 24, that should have cleared the code if it was fixed right? If so, then nope that didnt take the code away. Would a code 24 cause this? If so...
Dumb question but when i set up my ignition timing I put it to TDC, aligned the marks on the CPS, and tightened the CPS in place, it then started great, but it doesnt run long enought to use the timing light to ensure it is at 10 degrees BTDC. I doubt ignition timing could be the issue here, but...
Oops forgot that part. Only code i got is 24 however i didnt have my MAF sensor plugged in (oops). I plugged it in, and pulled the EFI relay for about 30 seconds, but i still get code 24....weird. Maybe that is the issue. The TSRM gives a pretty vague description of a code 24:
24 - Intake air...
