looks good so far. Spend some good time cleaning and shining up the pcv/3000 pipe area and the intake mani and give your bay a good cleaning and you will have a nice looking bay sir.
There are a select few that prefer the look (Hi!)....but not many. I am keeping mine because I think it looks much meaner and aggressive on a widebody MK3...which is the route I'm going in the loooong distance future.
Know the feeling man...Backlash has been a big help to me man, he knows his stuff. I've been through all the steps of a full rebuild tho so hit me up anytime. I know how big of a help just having someone else there to give opinions is.
Don't let that little stint of bad weather you just had down there change you! Anytime you feel the urge I have a nice silver 08 Tundra with 80k on it...straight up for your supra..lol didnt think so!
So you're saying that when you jumper T and E1 in the diagnostic terminal you get steady and consistant rapid flashes (no stored codes)? But based on your limited info, I would say boost leak as well. Did you do any mods before this started happening or did it just start to happen out of nowehere?
well how does your car run at the moment? Also, you should not be flirting with fuel cut at all until you know how your engine is performing. Like I said my advice is to get the car running right in stock form. Then worry about tuning around fuel cut and upgrades.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the volume of air in a motor is constant, therefore after the intercooler the size of piping is really just going to be affecting flow (CFM), not pessure because it takes longer for that air to fill up the volume of the larger size piping (hence lag)?
I have the buffer. We can do it anytime, it's not hard, just takes time and effort lol.
My car needs lot's of attention to the drivetrain/chassis before I worry about the appearance too much though :P
I'll probably consume the sleeper role for awhile haha
I'm confused...you say you had your motor rebuilt once already? I'm still unclear why anyone would rebuild a motor without checking the operation of the oil pump, squirters, and knowing if it all went back together within spec?? How do you know it's any better off now than it was with the BHG...
Still TONS to do before spring! But here is how she sat a few days ago!
Here are a few of the bigger things on the to do list before summer:
Lowering springs
Rear street radials
rotors/brakes
Re-do intercooler piping/routing
Get the car to Sublime to hook up the safc and dyno tune.
Wonder if u coud just buy some used stock injectors and take those off the injectors somehow?...then you would just have to wire those to the precision pig tails...im sure this has been thought of before tho, so maybe someone does make pigtail adapters already?
