Octane will help for ignition timing (and torque) but you can achieve the same effective pressure (static+ turbo) as stock if I understand correctly

Hi, you can check the spreadsheet I made: https://docs.google.com/a/reynald-rollet.fr/spreadsheets/d/1BzteOGfLCCBzHwLF3b1YoKxMuWqXQiLttjqg73Rs00U/edit?usp=sharing
Save a copy so you can modify green cells to your needs.
Turbo Pressure are in bars but I think you can check your calculation...

I agree with advices as I ask myself the same already. As soon as block is worked on, rebuilt is as cheap as honing, rings, bearing, and a full gasket set...

Grim, all (piratetip?),
I would love to take this project over and keep it going .
I don't know if I will be skilled enough to fine tune the code with atmel studio but can have a look.
I'd like some people to join me to help. Piratetip, would you like to join?
Grim, I'd like to receive...

May I bump your thread Grim ?
Your car is for sale, that's a bad news for this project I guess.
BTW, I will upgrade my ignition system, and maybe I could continue your development if you stopped :)
I have some arduino nano, micro, and due laying around ;)

Andrew, I made a spreadsheet studying dozen of gasket thickness cases for my build.
Lots of formulas so easily customisable.
If you're interested, let me translate it in English and put some comments on how to use.
I'm going to share it online.
Edit: Here it is...
I'm not skilled enough to make advice about race engine so I won't.
Maybe you don't want to loose time and effort and repair your 7M.
I have been able to get made to order Wiseco pistons in about a month. From PayPal to Paris, France.
I doubt you need to replace block parts for a head / HG...
Super51fan,
I have also Blueprinted everything but mains :-(
Plastigauge is the recommended method in TSRM among with micing the crank..
Here are results for rod bearing:
(red values on the extreme right are blueprint, blue are plastigauge)
