You are better off to pay $80 a pound for R12 vs the 134a. I have converted other cars and the 134a in an R12 system just won't pull down around town. I will never convert another car. My Supra still has R12 and will always have R12. Most A/C shops still have it if you ask.
You have to undo the rack because the line runs under the rack next to the frame. Very messy job and tuff if you are on your back. Not too bad if you have a lift. Make sure you get two new crush washers from Toyota and don't use the old ones.
Thanks guys,
I am going to try to source a whole hub assembly from a guy on SF. No one here would assume its the diff, right? He has one of those too for a good price but I don't think the diff would cause what I am seeing.
I have a problem with my right rear drive train. I have a noticeable in and out wobble on my tire that causes the car to shake like heck above 70. I originally thought I had a bent rim, but after getting new rims and tires, the problem was still there. Took it back to the tire place and they...
Unbolt the resevoir, lay it on its side and take the hoses off and plug them with your fingers. Very little mess as long as your resevoir cap has a good seal. I just put another pump on mine today.
Yeah, do it right... or do it again. My advise to you is to just set it aside and drive the stocker until you can do it right. I have a Greddy T67 kit (along with many other items) just sitting in multiple boxes awaiting my other mods. I just keep eyeing the forums and eBay for deals. It...
Yeah, he seems like a really nice guy on the phone and very knowledgeable. He has a 99% rating with eBay so I feel confident. I also did the purchase through eBay so there is a record of the transaction. I am actually thinking about flying down to PR to check their scene out. Man they have...
There is a coater in Orlando that can do it cheaper than what he quoted me. Does he owe you a downpipe? Don't tell me I am going to have a hard time getting this stuff :(
I learned my lesson back in 86 when I was 16. Rebuilt my dad's 1972 Dodge pickup which had a 318. Had planned on putting the antifreeze in, but got busy and forgot. Freeze came a couple weeks later and I went out the next morning and the freeze plug was on the ground. Luckily some block...
Yeah figgie I agree with you. I think I will probably just keep the stocker so it is basically plug and play. However, I will PM Ron and see if he can adapt a ford on his manifold with the TPS. What is a good price for a ford one? On a side note, I have often wondered why folks go after...
Ok folks, I have decided to get Ron's FFI. Is the q45 tb all it's cracked up to be for the cost? Granted it's large and will flow more but how big a turbo would be needed to outflow the stock TB. I am going to be running a Greddy T67 kit on the street between 15-17 psi with an attempt to get...
