Did you have to losen anything up top to allow the motor to raise i.e. linkage and such? How many inches did it need to raise?

It appears that my previous owner used a gasket on the oil pan instead of the Toyota or aftermarket liquid gasket? I can see that the gasket has pushed out of the sides and has a slight leak. Can the pan be dropped enough to redo the gasket or does the engine have to be pulled?

Really, I never knew that? So why are all the newer kits bar and plate? So would an HKS kit with pipes be worth $800 shipped or would it be better to get an spearco bar and plate for $400 (eBay) and buy pipes?

Seems like the Supra is not the car you should be using. Too heavy and long. Sell it and get something more inline for your needs.

Aaron, are you saying that you will "rebuild" the used engine with a complete mirror edge on the head and lap the block? What do you charge to do the MHG, oil pump, new seals, and ARP studs.
