Yes, I want to use a PS cooler.

Might be a dumb question, but will a rail cooler work well for PS and the hydro fan appications. I would like to mount one on each rail in the front part of the engine bay. This will keep the front bumper area clear and less crowded. I am just not sure if air has to be passing over the fins...

No piggyback can raise the rev limiter. To raise the rev limit, you need a Mines, Gforce, or other reflashed ECU. Some piggybacks have timing control like the MAP ECU 2, and I believe the emanage ulitmate does as well. From what I have read, the timing control on the piggybacks is not very good.

You would be surprised. Most of them bought cars they couldn’t afford and have huge credit card debt to support their hobby. There are some affluent people there but not as many as you would think. There are also some very affluent people here on SM as well. Don't associate MKIV and MKIII...

Ironically, you have set the expectations too high. I dont mean to be rude, but 4K is chump change to spend between the hood and drivetrain. You will spend more than 4k just rebuilding the 7M properly to support low 11's. Now add turbo, intercooler, pipes, fuel support, engine management...

I didnt say rolling a fender is major, I said it would require major fender rolling. When you get your MKIII into the 9's like the mustang then talk to me. I can count on one hand the number of MKIII's that I have seen post time slips in the 9's.

I don't know why people pick the MK3 as a drag or street racing car for their base platform to build on. It is too freaking heavy and limited on the amount of rubber than can be squeezed underneath it without major fender rolling or tubing. If racing is the ultimate goal, I think the MK3 is a...
