If they could be produced for $90 to $100 they would sell. But I agree, at $200 the cost of the upgrade does not make sense when full fledged BB kits can be had for $1100 these days.
I would be willing to bet that is on a 58mm or similar size turbo. The 1J needs a very fast spooling turbo to offset the displacement disadvantage. Once the turbo is full tilt, the car is fine. My main beef with the 2.5 is that any good size single makes it a boat anchor for around town...
No jokes needed, it is true. The 1J doesnt make our car respond the way it should. Jay has been on both sides of the fence, and I would be willing to venture he would never go back to a 2.5
Now get a 2J head on it and quit being a hybrid :naughty:
I am not on a MK3 ECU, I am on a MKIV harness and ECU. The systems are seperate but you will need to remove the bulb from the cluster because the ABS light will come on if you delete the airbag.
Yeah, it all wrapped in yellow. I did an airbag delete with a momo wheel and wish I could remove it all but some of the airbag harness is wrapped in the main harness body harness along the inside of the firewalll.
That is the 92 harness in the 92 car. I just used my grey dash pad out of my 89. But I did go back and look and the 89 does not have that plug. The airbag controller is under the console. That is another item that has to be modified since the consoles are different betwenn the 89 and 90 up.
Well I moved the dash over from the 89 to the 92. I put the 92 dash harness on the 89 pad so everything would line up. I have one connector that I cannot find it's home. It hangs dead center of the glove box from the top of the dash pad. I cannot find anything that this terminates to...
They looked the same, I cant see any difference from the pics. I had bought them from Randy (becauseican) a couple of years ago but never mounted them. I decided to go with the Arz kit.
