There is no cheap way to make power on a 2J or any other motor for that matter. Fuel, turbo, engine management, intercooler, pipes, and the fabrication to put the motor in is not going to be cheap.

Not really, even with the dash out, it is wound into the main body harness. You would have to untape the entire interior harness to seperate the SRS harness. I was going to remove it but found it to be too much trouble.
I have all the airbag components that I can sell you i.e. control unit, sensors, and another airbag from my 92. I did an abs delete on my car. My car was never in an accident so I would assume everything works properly.
