    Not always. The CCW's I just orderd were $2600, so I would say $2600 + :D

    Like These Rims?

Come on Poodles.... I am surprised by your answer. Any car, with the exception of rare exotics or classic American muscle cars, is going to go down in value. Owning a Supra is a hobby that shouldn’t have any investment connotation linked with it. Maybe an original, low mileage Supra but...

Walbro 255 vs. Stock Fuel pump?

Amazon.com is a good place to get the Bosch http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-044-Universal-Inline-Fuel/dp/B001CCVFBS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1268668796&sr=8-1 Before you laugh about Amazon, it is from Titan via Amazon. I am going with a Denso (MKIV) in tank and a Bosch 44...

    800hp daily?

Yeah, I thought that he was around 1200. I was just wanting to show an example of how a drag car is not intended to be driven on the street. I think anything over 500 is crazy on street tires and driving around on drag rims and radials is not ideal or safe.

    800hp daily?

I would suggest you look on youtube to Ryan Woon's car on the street; the car is useless. Granted, he is higher than 800hp, but you will still be spinning though most of the gears. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHkefDQyQ9g&feature=PlayList&p=CEE0518B8ECEE40F&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=25

    My new CCW's.......

I wasnt a fan of the CCW's at first, but I am really starting to like them. They look great on your car. That makes two of us Duane, there are too many people that don't know how to use the words two, to, and too. :)

Not to be rude, but if your headgasket blew after rebuilding the engine, you should consider getting help on the next rebuild.

Do you see many targa tops in 91 and 92?

It was originally white. I started doing a color change on it to the Lexus charcaol grey. The car was stripped and the interior and engine bay were sprayed. The outside needs to be finished. I found a 91 targa that was mint with a 4k paint job on it. I bought it and migrated everything from...

Do you see many targa tops in 91 and 92?

There are fewer sunroofs than any of the models. I believe Jeff Lange posted the production numbers somewhere, so you might want to do a search. I have a 91 targa and a 92 sunroof. I prefer the targa and will be getting rid of the 92 as a rolling chasis.

    Transmission Removal

Loosen motor mounts and remove the x-member. Lower the jack and allow the tail shaft to drop. Go over the top of the transmission from the rear with long extensions and a swivel socket. I use two 36" extensions and an impact gun. You could probably do it with a string of 12" extensions and a...

    Stay 7M or go 1jz or 2jz?

That is true Ian, I shouldnt have used the term "no one" as that is way too broad. I meant that the average joe rebuilding a motor in his garage with the local five and dime machine shop in town. I think you agree that without a good machine shop and an experienced builder, a factory...

    Stay 7M or go 1jz or 2jz?

I am from the school that no one assembles an engine better than the factory. If there is not any evidence that there is a problem, I am not going to rering and bearing the motor. Even if there was a problem, I would buy a factory shortblock vs a rebuild. If most of the people doing 7M...

    Stay 7M or go 1jz or 2jz?

Why? Very few 1J and 2J junkyard imports have problems. New gaskets...sure, but a rebuild is overkill. You could still see the cross-hatch on my cylinder walls when I pulled it apart to replace all the gaskets. Not saying a rebuild is not better, but if one is staying under 600hp on a JZ...
