I found a rear strut bar for sale. I know they don’t surface very often, so I was going to buy this one. Before I shell out the coin, I was wondering if they actually do anything. I wasn’t sure if they provide any additional rigidity with regards to body flex or is it just for looks.
Refund the money and sell the parts to the other buyer. The original terms of the sale were broken by the purchaser. If you are not in need of funds or space that the parts are taking up, you can work with the original buyer. If he has an honest reason why he was not able to pay i.e. school...
I dont know what your budget is, so I can't effectively put myself in your shoes. I have the luxury of being older and having a lot more disposable income than most of the younger crowd here. If you cannot afford to upgrade to a BBK, I would at least ensure that all the factory brake...

I will ask them but the only problem I see is that most of the MK3 crowd won't spend $2600 on rims. I know some do, but the majority wont.
No, I said it was the opposite of black. I said it is was like the stars and stripes - red, ....., and blue. Yeah, sorry.... it is white. I have only seen yours and the black one with CCW's. Who has the other one? I am going with the black and you are rocking the polished. What does the...
Duane,
I only spoke with Brad and then Dan, not John. He did mention that you had provided detailed measurements. Dan said that he "thought" he might be able to get more rubber under the front than what yours ended up with. He did mentioned that you had 17s in the rear with the DRs and he...
I spoke with Dan @ CCW today and we were going back and forth on the fitment of the CCW classics on the MKIII. We discussed Duane's car but he said that he thinks he can get more rim under the car for those of us that are on street tires and not drag radials. To make a long story short, I am...
I think yours have been recovered. The Recaro is in the wrong location. The TTR seats had the stitching in the middle section of the seat. Mine were done like the originals...see below.
I know you really love the MKIII (more than most) and you have collected alot of parts over the years. If I recall, you were having some financial difficutly that forced you to sell them at the time. At least you can know they went to a good home and were restored to new condition.
Not that these are "rare" but they are very unique. I redid my entire interior including the factory Recaro seats. To the best of my knowledge, there arent any other blue ones around. Who says blue cant be sexy :)
