No gain power wise, but you can rev the motor safer if you have a standalone or Gforce ECU with a higher rev limit. The increased revs with cams will yield more power but the springs themselves wont do anything for you on a stock ECU power wise. Some MKIV guys bang out 8,200 on the stock...

No, you will be fine on pump with that up to 18 psi. Tissimo ran the 67 on 550's on his 1J with no problems.
