the sensor is on the passenger side of the engine near the oil filter and bellow the dis/CPS. mine stopped work as well oddly after power sliding the car in the snow it fixed it lol. (not oddly prob cleaned out build up.)

sounds like this would be up there in price lol. i would say both 89+/- that way for thoughs that dont like the 89-92 bumper can stay with the older style.

you have the 86.5-88 trim has a metal brace in the back of the trim. 89-92 trim has no metal in it and is shapped diffrent. and for your second question i think thay paint all moldings the same color so its less noticable.

good point on that. but no screw were lose in my light rails. but it is something worth checking if something simuler happens again.

i did this for afew reasons one they work. and two once i get a second car im gutting my 86.5 and parting it out (for other supra owners looking for parts) along with keeping all parts i need for my 87. also when i got the car alot of wires were spliced under the dash. so i figured afew more...

an 86.5 MKIII supra was my first car i got her when i was 14 (took 2 yrs and 900 to get her running). my advise is do alot of research and save your money for anything that may go wrong with her. and keep up on maintenance. (belts, fluid, hoses, ext.) if you know nothing about working on cars...

well since you live in cali i would have to say the sun is fading the paint. is it a fairly new paint job? if so take it back to them and have them fix it.
