William: Nah they use a totally different mounting!
Also the T56 won't fit into the trans tunnel in a Mk3 without some major surgery as the extension housing that holds 5/6th gears is wider than the existing tunnel back there (you'd almost have to move the seats it's so wide)

Siman: No idea I took the "easy" way out and went full standalone ;)!
There's a few really good threads here on the MAFT and ShawnDude knows a bunch about it even though he rarely posts anymore!
(I used to try and follow their tech threads until my brain would explode)
Time to try either a mechanical gauge or another temp sensor!
What I wrote earlier about the stock gauge V's the standalone readout is interesting to me at least as with a stock gauge you never actually know what 1/2 is ?

Another 3>4 bars is around 98c!

Don't know what the access is like to...
F&F 1 and 2 have a lot to answer for!
While Nitrous doesn't burn it WILL accelerate anything that is burning!
A bit like adding oxygen to a fire (you know how you blow on an ember while camping to make it flame up).
This is why smoking in Hospital is such a big no no!
