    Did mine when I rebuilt the car and used a 12 Ton press to press em out/in! Cassio: Heat/Cold works really well until you fumble it halfway in and they equalise and get stuck! ;)

    I'd be very surprised if the cracking issue is still there as the newer version uses 3mm thick tubes with a lot of load tabs. I've posted a few pics in my build thread and while it's a tight fit on a RHD car a T04 should bolt on!
