Um. Maybe you might think about switching to decaf? :icon_bigg From his post count, I'd say he's brand new here, may not even have known that there WAS a vender section.

Anyone have a wobbly gas pedal??

Well, it also seems that the metal shaft which makes up the pedal's 'arm' is rather thin and flexible as well. I was thinking of trying to reinforce that as well.

    Machine Shops in YOUR area!

D&A machine shop, Canton, Georgia. They decked my cylinder head, bored/honed my block for forged pistons, resized my rods, and polished my crank. Haven't finished the engine yet, so dunno exactly how good the work was, but it looks pretty nice. Their prices are reasonable for sure.

Anyone have a wobbly gas pedal??

About 2 years ago, I tried to tighten my gas pedal, as it seemed to flex way too much. Well, the upper bolt stripped where it was threaded into the weld nut, and so it would just turn, not loosening or tightening, and I couldn't remove it. Well, I got smart, and I put a Second nut on the...

    My new 7M buildup...long road.

Well, today I increased the extension of the oil pump pickup into the oil pan. I set it about 5mm closer to the bottom of the pan. I also cleaned and painted the pan in low-gloss black, and installed the wrap-around coolant pipe, which is painted red. I'll have a pic or two up tomorrow, since I...

    Engine issues?

Don't know if it's possible on the Supra, but I once had the cold start injector go bad/ stuck open in my Z car, and I could barely keep it running due to all the fuel pouring in, and all the black soot pouring out.

desperatly need guidance on MAF subject, technically

I don't know what that Venom thing does, except maybe fool the ecu into thinking it needs to leave fuel enrichment on. Do you remember if you had to connect it to the cold start switch? Anyway, Go with a MAFT, and you can blow the HKS open air, and you'll have a bit of TPS position- and wide...

I don't know if they're etched in or not, honestly. It might just be ink.

    Compression test results!!!

I was going to say that you should retorque to head first also. You might very well find that they've loosened a bit, especially the exhaust side.

desperatly need guidance on MAF subject, technically

You want to recirculate because the air has already gone thru the MAF, and the ECU has already sent the signal to the injectors to deliver to proper balance of fuel. If you don't reciculate, then the fuel gets into the cylinders, but the air has left the party early. I assume you're talking...

    My new 7M buildup...long road.

Today's update- After work, I installed the new shims I received from Goodson.com, and installed my ex. cam to check clearance. After one last switch-around, I now have all clearances correct. I then installed the ex. manifold studs into the heli-coiled holes with locktite. Head is pretty much...

    lifter shim question

As I mentioned in another thread, Goodson.com has good prices(maybe the best) on 4-packs of 25mm shims. I just put a bunch in tonight, and will be posting a pic of the shims and the head( since it's finally frikken done!). The nice thing about the Goodson shims, is that they have the size...
